House Rules and Student Responsibilities:

House of Om Luxembourg collaborates exclusively with certified yoga teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality yoga classes. While every effort is made to maintain a safe environment, the nature of yoga carries inherent risks. By participating in our yoga classes, the Student acknowledges and accepts this risk. To mitigate the risk of injury, House of Om provides the following guidelines:

  1. Before starting yoga classes, especially if uncertain about one’s health or during pregnancy, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
  2. In case of injuries or physical discomfort, always inform the yoga teacher before the class begins.
  3. Pregnant individuals are required to inform the yoga teacher before starting the class.
  4. Adhere to and follow the instructions provided by the yoga teacher.
  5. Practice yoga exercises carefully, considering your physical limitations.
  6. Avoid performing any yoga exercises that cause pain.
  7. Seek clarification by asking questions if an exercise is not understood.

While we strive for accuracy on our website, we do not assume liability for any inaccuracies, and no rights can be derived from the information provided.

Personal Data Protection:

House of Om collects personal data from students for membership records, payment processing, and class card administration. Data collection complies with applicable data protection laws. Personal data is also used to keep students informed about House of Om’s activities and any changes in the class schedule. Students who wish to opt out of communications can do so by emailing hello@houseofom.lu. Note that opting out may limit access to some services and products. Personal data will not be transferred to third parties without written consent, except when collaborating with another yoga studio or teacher for specific events or sharing information with government agencies for fraud prevention or investigation.

Code of Conduct:

Students are expected to adhere to House of Om’s code of conduct:

  • Wear clean and comfortable clothes suitable for yoga classes.
  • Avoid eating a full meal within two hours before the class and refrain from practicing yoga on a full stomach.
  • Refrain from attending a yoga class while intoxicated.
  • Do not wear shoes in the yoga studio.
  • Use House of Om’s rental yoga mats for free during classes and clean them with the provided “yoga mat cleaner” after use.
  • Maintain a quiet environment within the yoga studio to respect others.

Anti-Harassment Policy:

House of Om Luxembourg is committed to maintaining a yoga studio environment that is free from any form of harassment. Harassment, including but not limited to, unwelcome comments, advances, or any behavior creating an uncomfortable atmosphere, will not be tolerated. This policy applies to all individuals within the House of Om community, including students, teachers, staff, and visitors. If you experience or witness harassment, please report it immediately to the manager (Emilie Dittberner) or another staff member. All reports will be treated confidentially, and appropriate actions will be taken to address and rectify the situation.

House of Om reserves the right to deny access to its premises or terminate packages for students not adhering to house rules without a refund of fees.

Cancellation Policies:

We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel your reservation. To ensure a fair and effective class scheduling system, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation Deadline:
    Any cancellation made less than 6 hours before the scheduled start time of the class will not be eligible for reimbursement.
  • Unlimited package holders will be subject to a 15€ late cancellation/no show fee after the first exemption.
  • Cancellation with Advance Notice:
    If you need to cancel your reservation and provide notice at least 6 hours before the scheduled start time, you will receive a credit for the full amount paid. This credit can be used to book another class at your convenience.
  • How to Cancel:
    Cancellations should be made through our online booking system or by contacting us directly.
  • Late Arrivals and Door Lock Policy:
    To maintain the integrity of our classes and ensure a focused environment, the studio door will be locked promptly at the scheduled start time of the class. Late arrivals after the door is locked will be considered as no-shows. To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the class begins. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
  • No-Show Policy:
    If you do not show up for a booked class without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show, and no reimbursement or credit will be provided.
  • Credit Usage:
    Credits for cancellations made with advance notice can be used to book any other class within our schedule. The credit is valid for an unlimited period, and you have the flexibility to choose a class that suits your availability.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy. This policy allows us to accommodate as many students as possible and maintain a smooth class experience. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us. Thank you for being a part of our yoga community!

Applicability of Additional Terms and Conditions and Definitions:

Workshops and Retreats are subject to additional terms and conditions in conjunction with the general terms. These additional terms are integral to the agreement, and participants accept them by engaging in a Workshop or Retreat.

Participation in Workshops and/or Retreats and Registration Fee:

Participants must register for Workshops or Retreats in advance and pay the designated price. Registration includes payment at the studio reception or through the Mindbody booking system. A guaranteed spot is secured upon receipt of payment.

Payments and Prices:

Prices for Workshops or Retreats are available in the Mindbody booking system. Payments must be made before the event, either at the studio or through the Mindbody system.

Cancellation Policies:

  • Workshop Registration: Cancellation must be done in writing to hello@houseofom.lu. Free cancellation is permitted up to twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled Workshop. Late cancellations result in non-refundable registration fees.
  • Retreat Participation: Cancellation must be done in writing to hello@houseofom.lu. Free cancellation is allowed until 60 days before the scheduled Retreat. Within 60 days, a 50% charge applies. Cancellation within 30 days or on-site results in non-refundable fees.

Workshop Schedule:

The current Workshop Schedule is available on the website and Mindbody system. House of Om reserves the right to change the schedule, with announcements made in advance. Credits for any changes can be used for future bookings within one year.

House of Om reserves the right to cancel a scheduled Workshop due to force majeure, and credits can be used for future bookings within one year.

Grievance Policy:

House of Om Luxembourg is committed to providing an effective and fair process for addressing grievances. If you have a complaint or concern related to your experience at House of Om, please follow the steps outlined below:

  • Informal Resolution: We encourage individuals to first attempt an informal resolution by discussing the issue with the relevant party involved. If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily, proceed to the next step.
  • Formal Grievance: Submit a formal written grievance to the manager (Emilie Dittberner). The written grievance should include a detailed description of the issue, individuals involved, and any relevant evidence or documentation. House of Om will promptly and thoroughly investigate the grievance, ensuring confidentiality to the extent possible.
  • Appeal Process: If the resolution is unsatisfactory, the individual may request an appeal. The appeal should be submitted in writing within a specified timeframe to the manager (Emilie Dittberner). An impartial party will review the appeal and provide a final resolution.

House of Om is committed to addressing grievances in a timely and fair manner, fostering a positive and respectful community environment.

I hereby consent to the following terms and conditions:

  • I acknowledge that I am engaging in yoga classes, health programs, workshops, and/or other wellness activities (collectively referred to as the “Activities”) offered by House of Om (referred to as the “Studio”). These Activities may be conducted in-person at the Studio’s physical location or online via various digital media or platforms. All such offerings, whether physical or online, are considered part of the Activities.
  • I understand that participation in the Activities requires adequate physical and mental health. I affirm that I am physically fit and possess no medical conditions that would hinder my participation. I recognize the potential for intense physical exertion and am aware that participation may result in physical injury or aggravate pre-existing medical conditions. I acknowledge my responsibility to consult with a physician before engaging in the Activities and have done so if necessary. I understand that the Studio reserves the right to refuse my participation in any Activity based on medical, fitness, or other grounds.
  • I am aware that participation in the Activities carries certain risks, including but not limited to high blood pressure, fainting, heart disorders, physical injury, and exacerbation of pre-existing injuries. I acknowledge the possibility of experiencing muscle, back, neck, or other injuries and commit to being sufficiently self-aware to modify or cease participation in any Activity to prevent injury.
  • In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Activities, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, that may occur as a result of my participation at the Studio, including those arising from the negligence of the Studio.
  • Additionally, I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claims (hereinafter referred to as “Claim”) I may have against the Studio, its owners, managers, instructors, employees, contractors, and staff (each a “Released Party”) for any injuries sustained during participation in the Activities, even if such Claim arises from the negligence of any Released Party or another individual. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless each Released Party from any loss, cost, or liability incurred as a result of defending against any Claim made by me or anyone acting on my behalf, regardless of whether the Claim alleges negligence by any Released Party or another individual.
  • I, along with my heirs or legal representatives, release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue any Released Party for any Claims resulting from negligence or other acts of a Released Party.
  • I understand and consent to the Studio’s potential use of photographs, videos, or other recordings of classes or events for promotional purposes on its website or social media platforms.
  • This agreement shall be governed by the laws Luxembourg and any legal proceedings related to this agreement shall take place in a court of competent jurisdiction in Luxembourg. If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

I acknowledge that I have read and understand this agreement in its entirety. I voluntarily agree to its terms and conditions, recognising that by doing so, I am relinquishing certain legal rights and options for legal recourse for myself and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns.
